Recognized at a teacher education cording ceremony for completing Iowa State University's Educator Preparation Program.

A group of almost 20 Iowa State University undergraduate students stretched their learning through research and laboratory experience in the Science with Practice program. Students participating in Science with Practice develop individualized learning agreements and project goals with Iowa State faculty mentors. At the conclusion of the semester, participants presented their projects at a poster session open to the public.

These College of Engineering students work hard and dedicate long hours on top of their classes to be a part of the esteemed Iowa State College Football Varsity Marching Band.

More than 4,100 University of Nebraska-Lincoln students have been named to the Deans' List/Explore Center List of Distinguished Students for the spring semester of the 2015-16 academic year.

Central College celebrated commencement May 14. The graduating class included 256 participants from 21 states.

Members of the Class of 2016 received their diplomas May 15 at the 195th Colgate University Commencement. Robert D. Manfred Jr. P'16, the commissioner of Major League Baseball, delivered the keynote address.

Wartburg College has recognized 427 students who were named to the 2016 Winter/May Term Dean's List.

Graduating students in the Iowa State University Educator Preparation Program have been honored to designate their rank as professional educators. The graduates were bestowed with cords of light blue, the traditional color of academic tassels worn by those in the field of education, in a ceremony on Friday, May 6, in Stephen's Auditorium in Ames. The Iowa State University Educator Preparation Program comprises students and faculty in several colleges. The program is coordinated by the School of Education in the College of Human Sciences.

Buena Vista University digital media students took home several awards and other honors during April at state, regional and national levels.

Thirty-six outstanding students in the Iowa State University College of Human Sciences have been initiated into Phi Upsilon Omicron, a national honor society in family and consumer sciences.

The following people recently were initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.

Buena Vista University's student media organizations took home 33 awards and other honors at the 2016 Iowa College Media Association (ICMA) conference held during February in Des Moines.

Buena Vista University media students and organization were recognized at the College Media Association (CMA) Organizational Pinnacle Awards presented at the CMA Fall National College Media Convention which took place in Austin, Texas.

Wartburg College student media won 18 awards at the annual Iowa College Media Association conference Feb. 4-5 in Des Moines. Wartburg's Knight Vision won 11 awards, the Trumpet earned four and KWAR earned three.
